Since opening our doors on January 17, 1994, East Cooper Auto Pros has proudly served Mount Pleasant, SC, with honest, high-quality automotive care. What began as a one-man effort by our founder, Willie, has grown into a respected and established name in the Lowcountry automotive community. Willie’s journey started with side work to support his family while working for someone else, eventually earning more on weekends than at his day job. That leap of faith led him to rent a small space and officially launch East Cooper Auto Pros. Over 30 years later, our commitment to integrity, expert craftsmanship, and putting customers first remains unchanged.

At East Cooper Auto Pros, we service Domestic and Asian vehicles and also handle select European makes. Whether it’s a routine oil change, advanced diagnostics, or complex repairs, our highly trained team brings the right tools and knowledge to every job. We’re proud to have four ASE Master Certified Mechanics, five A/C Certified Technicians, and an ASE Certified Service Advisor on staff.
Our facility is fully equipped with industry-leading tools and technology to ensure every vehicle receives top-tier service. We operate four advanced diagnostic computers, each with lab scope capability, which allows us to pinpoint and resolve even the most complex issues with precision. We also offer in-house programming for GM and Ford vehicles, and we have the ability to program all makes that we work on.
Our alignment machine features the latest updates to guarantee accurate adjustments and optimal tire performance. For air conditioning service, we have machines for both the modern R1234yf refrigerant and R134a refrigerant. Additionally, we use four separate testers for battery and charging systems, BG service machines, and products.
